Highly resistant to chemical attack; absence of binders ensures that no impurities or changes arise from source. Unaffected by and will not denature biological/biochemical fluids; does not absorb macromolecules even at very low molecular concentrations and are easily sterilized. Wide, useful temperature range which can be used at 500°C and at low temperatures.
